The Visionary’s Talk

When I stood in the presence of compassionate Leaders and admirably curious audience on the 1^st of October, 2021 at the Leadership Reboot – 01 to commence the QHSES Leadership Academy, a tuition-free and prestigious Academy driven by passion for humanity and envisioned to develop Sustainable Leaders who strive to have positive and lasting impacts on people, organizations and society through professional excellence, integrity and spirit of service….some of the audience looked around with faces that deemed it impossible!

People asked me why we should impact people without collecting program fee and how do we facilitate robust lectures for six months with two semesters coupled with assessments, examinations and group project defence, I replied with the following quote from one of our great leaders in Africa, Dr. Nelson Mandela….“What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.”

This quote from our great Leader coupled with our deliberate intent to be among those adding value to this world through sustainable and responsible leadership….has made it possible to translate our vision into reality!

The Academy provides the platform to learn, unlearn and relearn through a strategic learning process that enables all students to create and share their own experiences, thus becoming active creators of learning rather than being passive consumers of knowledge.

At QHSES Leadership Academy, we believe that to enhance and sustain operational excellence in the Academy, our passion must walk hand in hand with compassion.

Above all, we give all praises and adorations to the Almighty Wise Creator, the First without a beginning and the Last without an end…..How many of HIS favours can we count?
